Bosses on Every Seed Result
Seed results now tell you which bosses you are walking into, and the guides now show the tool in use instead of describing it.
Every seed documents its bosses
All 520 result pages now list the Night 1 and Night 2 encounters, the extra night boss when there is one, and every field boss placed on that seed. Each one comes with a written description of what the fight is and what to watch for. 51 bosses in total.
Two things worth knowing that came out of building it: an extra night boss appears on only 21 of the 520 seeds, and field boss counts run from 5 to 17 per seed depending on the map. Great Hollow is the dense one.
The rest of the result page
The Nightlord status card was previously only readable as an image. The weaknesses, resistances and immunities are now written out as text on the page, so you can plan a loadout without opening the map. The card also moved up, above the record details.
Churches, Township and the Scale-Bearing Merchant are now listed on each result. Two things surprised even me here: the Scale-Bearing Merchant can appear on every map, not just Great Hollow, and Township never appears on Great Hollow at all.
The slot counts and the POI composition table were removed. They were near-identical from one seed to the next and did not help anyone decide anything.
Guides show real runs
Nine screenshots from actual sessions. The identification guide walks through three consecutive states of one run with the candidate counter visible: 240, then 25 after picking the Nightlord, then 3 after a single mark.
How to Use went from 5 steps to 10, now covering Map Markers, the Nightlord Weakness marker, the Crystal Finder and special events. The markers post back in 1.4.20 only ever covered Stonesword Keys, and four more marker families shipped after it with nothing written about them.
The FAQ went from 5 questions to 11: mobile support, DLC coverage, game version, event hunting, what the site stores, and where the data comes from.
Fixes
•Finding a seed changed the address bar but not the page below the map, so you had to refresh to see the result details. Fixed.
•On mobile, the bottom banner no longer covers the fan-made disclaimer.
•Fixed a bug that could tear down and rebuild the map on some phones.
Privacy policy
The policy now describes exactly what is stored. Your IP address is not recorded when you identify a seed. Bug reports still record one, because the form is open to anyone and it is the only defence against abuse. The policy now says so.
