Seed Pages Say What the Seed Is

Every seed result used to open with the same paragraph. Now the opening depends on what the seed actually holds.

The opening paragraph is no longer the same on all 520 pages

Until now, every result page started with the same generic sentence about the page being a shareable view of a dataset record. It was true of all 520 seeds and useful on none of them.

The opening is now picked from eight variants, chosen by the most distinctive thing that seed contains: an extra night boss, the Old Gaol, an unusually crowded field boss layout, an unusually sparse one, a Scale-Bearing Merchant, a Township, a recorded special event, or nothing flagged at all. Crowded means 15 or more distinct field bosses recorded, sparse means 6 or fewer. The eighth variant is for seeds where none of the others apply, and it says so plainly instead of inventing something to say.

A second line when the seed is unusual for its map

Some seeds get one more line under the opening. It names the trait, then gives the count against that map's total, stated in full so you can check it: 1 of 50, for example.

That line only appears when 25 or fewer of a map's seeds share the trait. On every other seed it stays quiet, because a trait that most of the map carries is not something worth pointing at.

One thing to be clear about, since the line is full of numbers: those numbers count records in this tool's dataset. They are not in-game odds, and they are not a drop rate. A trait that is uncommon among the records is uncommon among the records, and that is the whole of the claim.

Fixes

Seeds on Great Hollow were reporting one church fewer than the map actually has.

The reason turned out to be something I had not accounted for: not every church lives in the seed data. Some are drawn permanently into the map image, which means they are on every seed of that map and never appear in a seed record. Great Hollow has two of those, and the count was only allowing for one. Crater has one, and was already correct.

Also fixed a spelling error on How to Use, where the list of what a result gives you said "Evergoals". It is Evergaol. That was the only wrong instance on the site.
