Noklateo Seed Finder
Noklateo appears in the southwest quadrant during its Shifting Earth event, dropping the walled city and its sewers into that corner of Limveld. The dataset holds 50 records.
A third of Noklateo identifications never mark a building. Church is the most marked landmark here and the weakest by a wide margin, decisive in only 32.8% of the searches that used it, which is the lowest figure on any map.

Township is the closest thing to an even split here
Twenty-eight of the 50 records contain a Township, the highest rate of any map in the dataset. It is also the closest thing to an even split available here, so it removes the most candidates on average whichever way the answer falls.
Very little else opens the pool. A Great Church appears in 48 of the 50 records, so as a presence check that mark is close to worthless, though the positions still separate candidates once the pool is small. The DLC buildings sit at 10 of 50 as they do on the other Shifting Earths, and remain the highest-information single observation if you happen to see one.
How often each landmark appears on Noklateo
The share of this map's 50 records that contain at least one of each landmark. A landmark near 100% cannot narrow anything by presence alone, so the rows at the top of this table are the marks worth making first.
| Landmark | Records containing it | Share |
|---|---|---|
| Difficult Sorcerer's Rise | 1 of 50 | 2% |
| Blacksmith Village | 10 of 50 | 20% |
| Marsh | 10 of 50 | 20% |
| Scale-Bearing Merchant | 13 of 50 | 26% |

What identification actually takes on Noklateo
The table above is the dataset. This one is what players did with it. Across 22,727 identifications on this map, a search used 1.05 landmarks on average, selected the Nightlord 78.4% of the time and marked a landing point 58.6% of the time. 33.8% resolved without marking a single building.
The gap between the two columns is the useful part. The most marked landmark is rarely the one carrying the search, because a landmark that appears in almost every record cannot separate them by presence alone.
| Landmark | Times marked | Decided the search |
|---|---|---|
| Blacksmith Village | 1,342 | 97.1% |
| Marsh | 944 | 95.6% |
| Ruins | 2,748 | 95.5% |
| Main Encampment | 3,455 | 83.5% |
| Great Church | 4,099 | 82.9% |
| Township | 539 | 76.3% |
| Sorcerer's Rise | 993 | 72.4% |
| Fort | 3,747 | 71.2% |
| Church | 5,748 | 32.8% |
These come from the site’s own logs: every identification between 1 May 2026 and 30 July 2026, 400,702 of them across all maps. A landmark counts if it was still marked when the seed resolved, so a mark that was placed and then changed does not appear. Decisive means removing that one mark would have left more than one candidate standing, which is why several marks in the same search can each be decisive.
Worth knowing
- This map carries more Blacksmith Village placements per record than the other Shifting Earths, so once you know you are in a DLC seed the Blacksmith Village positions narrow the set quickly.
- It also carries the highest Great Church density in the dataset, at 2.52 per record against roughly 2.2 everywhere else.
Fixed structures not in the seed data
Noklateo is defined as much by what it removes as by what it adds, and the removal does not show up in the seed data because the structure involved is fixed rather than randomised.
- The Castle is gone. On every other Limveld map it sits at the centre and is one of the most valuable stops of the first day. Here the city takes its place, so a day one route built around the Castle has to be rebuilt.
Running Noklateo
Noklateo carries the single most valuable buff in the game, an extra revive. That alone puts it near the top for most players, because a spare revive matters most in exactly the fights you are least comfortable with.
It also holds an altar that duplicates equipment. Each member of the team gets one copy, powers included, which is the same effect as the Walking Mausoleum event that turns up on some maps. The copy does not have to be of your own gear, so a squad can spend all three uses on one strong find: three copies to the player who gets the most out of it, or one each so everybody is carrying it.
The cost is time. The city is large and clearing it tends to consume most of a day. What softens that is its shape: the area is linear and scripted rather than open, so it does not vary between runs. Once you have learned the route it becomes one of the more straightforward clears in the game, and the day it costs stops feeling expensive.
One rule holds across every Shifting Earth: the bosses are static. Same bosses, same places, same rewards, every run. Plain Limveld does not work like that, so this is the part of a map you can plan before you land.
The city bosses, the Favor and the duplication altar
Black Knife Assassin is the easy one, with Dragonkin Soldier and Headless Troll in the middle, and a Golden Hippopotamus hidden well enough in the eastern chasm that plenty of runs never find it. The Naturalborn of the Void waits in the cathedral and is the one you cannot skip, because the Favor is behind it. Killing it pays 150,000 runes solo, or 100,000 split across a trio, plus a Dormant Power and a rare or legendary weapon with Standard or Cold affinity.
Its moveset is not the one from the base game. Nightreign drops the Teleport Diving Grab and Reverse Gravity, and adds Star Slam, Sweeping Nebula and a heavier Waves of Darkness pattern, so base-game muscle memory will get you hit here.
The two rewards are independent of each other. Killing the Naturalborn dissolves the fog gate behind it and opens the shrine holding the Favor of Noklateo, which lets you rise from near-death unaided once and gives a brief power boost when you do. The weapon duplication altar does not depend on the boss at all; it is somewhere in the city, and where exactly is not something this page will spoil.
Six Evergaols survive the quadrant, matching the Rotted Woods, so if gaols are part of how you play these are the two Shifting Earths that cost you least. Opening all six costs six Stonesword Keys, and this is the map most likely to sell them to you: a Township turns up here more often than anywhere else in the dataset, and its merchant is the only one in the game who sells a key, one to each player. After plain Limveld, this is where the Evergaol build has the most to work with.
